The Greene Center plans and organizes numerous signature events throughout the academic year. These events are designed to connect students with both exploratory and experiential opportunities to support them in their career journey.

Rock Your Next Conference
Want to connect with an alumni in your industry of interest or prepare for your next big event? Join us for our mock-mini conference; Rock Your Next Conference! This mock-conference style event will help you develop relevant skills that are seen at conferences, including different ways to tell your story, at one of two workshops. After these workshop sessions, you’ll have the chance to put these skills into practice at a networking session with alumni, faculty, and staff.

Career Exploration Summit
Provides first- and second-year students an opportunity to connect with, learn from, and be inspired by young alumni as they discuss how their time at Rochester shaped their early professional career choices. Students will also explore how to jump start their personalized experiential learning journey.

At this event, there will be a high-profile panel of UR alums who work in the public service and not-for-profit space. The Gwennies are an annual celebration each year in April of the partners who make our work possible. Named after our benefactress Gwen M.
