The Greene Center is exited to partner with student leaders and student organizations! This might include attending a group meeting, having a brainstorming session to understand your needs and ideas, or co-sponsoring initiatives. You are encouraged to reach out to the appropriate career community leaders, Greene Center staff, or to our main email address at career.center@rochester.edu to set up a meeting.
Connections to Career Communities
Our Career Communities focus on various industries, and are a perfect space for Academic/Professional student organizations to engage with us! Career community leaders routinely support student organizations through events and programs, strategic planning, train-the-trainer education, and preparation for conferences and networking.
To connect with a career community leader, please view that community online, and on the right side see the appropriate staff to email.
Residential Life Leaders
The Greene Center has a long history of working with Resident Assistants, First Year Fellows, D’Lions, and all residential life positions to support students in our residence halls. We support programming for residential groups, as well as have a newsletter with information that you can share with your students directly or post in your areas.
Sponsorship and Support
The Greene Center is also happy to sponsor and support your existing career development programming! This can happen through:
1.) Sitting down early in your program process to discuss goals, brainstorm activities, and connect you to others
2.) Discussing ways to involve alumni or employers
3.) Spreading the word to students beyond your organization if appropriate
4.) Limited financial support, including competition prizes, support for affinity student organizations, or other creative options.
Program Requests
Thank you for your interest in a Greene Center workshop! We are excited about partnering with your residential hall, fraternity, sorority, athletic team, student organization or simply a gathering of friends to help meet your career education needs.
