The first destination of our graduates from the School of Arts & Sciences and Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences is a part of the story of our students and alumni. It does not give us a complete picture of the impact our graduates will go on to make during their lives, but it does show us where their careers begin in their efforts to make their communities ever better.

Medical School Acceptance Information
Over the last three application cycles, University of Rochester students who utilize the Greene Center’s health committee process have an acceptance rate of 72% to MD and DO programs.
- In the most recent application cycle, URochester students were admitted to 45 different schools with 71% accepted to MD programs and 29% to DO schools.
- Over the past three years, our students have been admitted to over 90 different schools, including URMC, SUNY Upstate, Jacobs School of Medicine, Rutgers, Touro, Albany Medical, Sidney Kimmel, Lake Erie, New York Medical, Temple, Dartmouth, Tufts, Drexel, Albert Einstein, NYITCOM, Kansas University, Yale, Michigan State, and many others.
We encourage students interested in pursuing medical school and other health profession graduate schools to engage with the Greene Center early in their undergraduate studies to take advantage of advising, mentorship, and experiential opportunities.
