Women’s Community March Blog – Celebrating Women’s History Month, International Women’s Day, Equal Pay, and Gender Equality Month

Welcome to the Greene Center Women’s community! My name is Cordelia, and I am a new member of the Women’s Community. You can look forward to hearing from me and Amber as we both work to support all women students. We are also excited to ensure that our coverage of women’s career issues is intersectional and brings forward the lived experiences for women of color, women with disabilities, women in nontraditional career paths, and international women.

March is filled with events! We have both Women’s History Month and Gender Equality Month to celebrate. As well as International Women’s Day and Equal Pay Day.

In honor of this, we have created this month’s blog recommendations on ways to celebrate women, encourage equality, and learn about the history of women in the workplace. We highlight pay equity, salary negotiation, and contribution to women all around the world!
