The Research Associate is expected to work on various PCG activities and projects, including its prominent online forum on corporate governance (“Forum”), its various research projects, and its publications, event, and programs.

Senator Gillibrand’s Internship Program 

U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand seeks a personable, reliable, hard-working, and professional intern for administrative and outreach duties for her Upstate office in Rochester, NY.

Applicants must be self-motivated team players who are able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality, have strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and be proficient working on the computer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, office management, answering multi-line phones, constituent services, and press clippings.

Interns that wish to work during an academic semester may apply for college credit through their department or college career office depending on their specific institution’s policies. We are more than happy to accommodate any requirements that your respective college or university has for internship credit.

Responsible for assisting staff in providing community outreach and exceptional constituent services. This position acts as an aid to staff in assisting with planning and completion of projects and events, keeping efficient communication through phones and email, along with providing support and assistance on behalf of constituents. NY State Senate office seeks an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive intern with excellent written and oral communication skills.

This Intern will serve as a constituent services coordinator. This role encompasses communication and advocacy on behalf of the constituency. It also includes referrals to the appropriate state, local agencies, and elected officials. This role will also attend and organize community meetings and events. This position will also be responsible for other administrative tasks and research projects
