Funding Systems and Strategies for Accommodation Expenses

We know that college is just as much a time for building friendships and maintaining social interactions as it is for focusing on academics and exploring career pathways. But, unfortunately, this is not always true for students with disabilities. In fact, studies have shown that only about 30% of deaf college students report they connect with their peers and participate in student activities while in college. Why is this, you may ask? Accessibility obstacles and the lack of accommodations provided by many colleges and universities is largely to blame.
