Greene Center and Career Community Programs

December 7th 6pm-7pm |Sophomore Internship Night

The night includes strategies and suggestions for Sophomores to begin and maximize their internship search! You’ll hear from UR Juniors and Seniors about their internship experiences, as well as Greene Center staff with information on Handshake, networking, interview prep, resumes, and more. December 15th | Applications Due Operations Development Program at M & T Bank

The Operations Development Program (ODP) is a training program in two of the largest operations divisions of M&T Bank, Banking Services and Customer Asset Management.

The Banking Services and Customer Asset Management divisions are seeking recent college graduates to help explore new solutions and develop innovative ways to help continue building M&T Bank as our communities’ banker of choice.  This year-long program will play a pivotal role in your career development at M&T Bank by providing you the tools for success with an established alumni network and senior leader exposure as an Operations Development Program Trainee.

December 23rd | Applications Due for Community Branch Management Program at M & T Bank

The Community Branch Management Program (CBMP) is an accelerated leadership development program designed to provide participants with a deep dive into the Customer Centric world of the Consumer Bank. During this 1-year program, Branch Management Trainees engage in a variety of Core Training sessions which includes classroom training, departmental overview presentations and observations, interactions with Senior Leadership across the Retail Bank, and special projects that arise. Branch Trainees will also have On-the-Job (OJT) responsibilities which will vary by market and are assigned by the mentoring manager. Learn more here.

December 31 | Applications Due for Financial Crime & Compliance Graduate-New York at Standard Chartered Bank

The Conduct, Financial Crime and Compliance (CFCC) team enable sustainable business by delivering the right outcomes for the Bank, its clients and communities by partnering internally and externally to achieve the highest standards in conduct and compliance.

The Advancing Black Pathways Fellowship Program offers a five-week paid, full-time summer fellowship held in select JPMorgan Chase offices. March 7th | Applications Due Equity Reseach Intern-Summer 2024 at Manning & Napier Advisors, LLC

As an intern, you will work with one or more senior professionals researching companies, industries, and broader economic trends on a global basis with the goal of making investments for our clients that help them reach their financial goals. You will report to the Managing Director of one of our investment teams.

Your internship will be 10 weeks long. Extensive mentoring and work on investment candidates (e.g. a stock) begins day one. Past interns have completed work on 2-3 projects during the summer, many of which culminated in presentations to one or more investment committees and actual investments for our clients.

April 3rd | Applications Due for M&T 2024 Management Development Program Business Banking Product Management

Serves as a member of the Management Development Program (MDP) and participates in ten weeks of Core Training and one year of On-the-Job (OJT) training. Core Training responsibilities include participation in classroom training, observations of departmental presentations, interaction with senior management, peer networking, and working in teams on two group project assignments. OJT responsibilities vary by department and are assigned by the department manager. The position may be responsible for additional projects as assigned by the department manager or Leadership Development Manager-MDP. Learn more here.
