The LifeSci NYC Internship Program Virtual Info Session | Monday, November 20, 6pm-8pm

The LifeSci NYC Internship Program offers the chance to complete a single application to gain access to paid internship and job opportunities at dozens of NYC life science companies and organizations. Students from all majors are eligible to apply, as a wide range of science, tech and business roles are offered.

Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at universities in NYC, as well as NYC residents enrolled in universities anywhere are eligible to apply. Medical Assistant at URMC | Applications close April 13, 2024

UR Medicine Primary Care is seeking Medical Assistants for its practices throughout Monroe County. Current openings are based in our practices throughout Monroe County, NY and offer a Full-Time schedule of 40 hours per week. A select few practices have Part-Time schedules available as well. Both Part Time and Full Time hours are scheduled Monday – Friday.

In this position, you’ll be supporting patient care in the office by assisting with tasks like checking vitals, updating patient charts, conducting point-of-care testing and room preparation, and helping with basic procedures and clinical tasks. Your role is to provide a warm patient hand-off to providers and nursing staff in the clinic. This is a great opportunity to work in Primary Care here in Rochester!

Ambulatory Technologist at URMC | Applications close April 13, 2024

URMC is looking for individuals to join the Outpatient team as full-time Ambulatory Technicians. Ambulatory Technicians perform a variety of clinical tasks in our outpatient practices, including patient intake, chart documentation, checking vitals and room preparation. Ambulatory Technicians may also assist with in-office procedures.

This position allows you to interact directly with patients, which makes it wonderful option for those of you looking to gain more experience in the medical field.
