Welcome back from the Social Good Career Community! We are excited to have you on campus and look forward to supporting you and your career interests this year. We encourage you to explore events, programs, and other opportunities throughout your time at Rochester.

As a subscriber of the Social Good Community, you can expect to receive updates on the latest events, internship and job opportunities, and alumni connected events and opportunities in the various social good communities, including: policy, advocacy and lobbying; law, intelligence, and national security; and last but not least, social good, public service, and education.

Friday, September 1st from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. | 6th Annual DeweyFest

Dewey Hall is excited to host our 6th Annual DeweyFest on Friday, September 1st from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m in the Cherry Garden (lawn outside Dewey Hall in front of Gavett)! Stop by to learn about all of the resources available to you in Dewey while having a blast with your fellow peers. There will be lawn games, cotton candy, music, branded swag, and more! You won’t want to miss participating in our scavenger hunt that will allow you to grab cool giveaways and enter our grand-prize raffle. See you there! In partnership with The David T. Kearns Center, Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), Office of Minority Student Affairs (OMSA), Center for Education Abroad (CEA), Ain Center for Entrepreneurship, Fellowships Office and the Office of Undergraduate Research.

Thursday, August 31st 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. | CFPB Honors Attorney Program Info Session

The Honors Program is a two-year program designed to provide exceptional recent law school graduates with early, substantive opportunities to use and develop their legal skills and make a difference in the lives of American consumers. Honors Attorneys are given increasingly complex assignments designed to build their legal skills and increase their ability to support the CFPB’s mission. Honors Attorneys serve a two-year term, after which, they may be converted to permanent positions, with greater promotion potential. Register Here for the Virtual Event.
