Handshake – Employer Collections

Handshake is the platform that students use to discover job and internship opportunities based on career interests, connect with employers, register for career events and fairs hosted by the Greene Center, and schedule career advising appointments. Opportunities on Handshake are generated through the Greene Center’s corporate engagement efforts with alumni and employers. See below for how to make your own Handshake account so you can see what your students see!

To sign up for an account, complete a Request a Faculty/Staff Handshake Account form. Consider creating a profile and completing the “Career Interests” section, including relevant Career Clusters, to receive the most up to date and information relevant to your discipline. You are then welcome to forward relevant information you receive to your students. To empower students to discuss their interests directly with employers and alumni, please encourage this self-advocacy, rather than reaching out on a student’s behalf. With a student level account, making your profile public to employers or fellow students can result in confusion, so we recommend keeping your account private.
