The Ferguson Centers for Leadership Excellence (CLE) has embarked on a bold initiative to positively impact diversity and revolutionize real estate as an industry. Despite many efforts by firms to attract and retain candidates who represent different backgrounds, women and people of color are widely underrepresented.
The CLE seeks to empower diverse students to earn undergraduate degrees and establish thriving careers in real estate, including investment, operations, asset management, finance, development, sales, and corporate positions.
This program offers each selected student: 1:1 certified coaching to support well-being and accelerate careers, digital training to develop your confidence and knowledge across a range of Power Skills for the Real Estate Industry, virtual events with corporate partners to increase career readiness, exposure to mentors and competitive internship and full-time career opportunities, and scholarship support to those with a financial need.
The Ferguson CLE will leverage the deep industry knowledge and vast networks of their founders, partners, and supporters to create change together and develop future leaders.
Eligibility:
Eligibility for the program will be based in part on the following criteria: The applicant is a rising Fall semester sophomore or junior who displays a strong interest in Real Estate such as declared major or minor, or Real Estate Club involvement, etc. The applicant has a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 The student does not require a work visa sponsorship for fulltime job after graduation.
