Tech Defenders is looking for a Director of Sales. The Director of Sales directs the development and execution of the business development vision, strategy, plans, and processes that will drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. This position identifies, evaluates and approves new markets, partners, channels, and customers.
The Director of Sales will:

Drive procurement and ITAD services sales strategy, liaise with the leadership team on key procurement sales initiatives.
Forecast and create a pipeline for services revenue initiatives
Establishes quarterly and annual goals for sales team.
Develop and implement marketing strategies for each defined target market
Develop Marketing strategies and initiatives including demand/lead generation.
Leadership and management of direct reports. Regular check ins, quarterly conversations, recognition/discipline actions, coaching opportunities, etc.
Collaborates with the rest of leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute on top necessities, continuous improvement opportunities, and major objectives.
Assists with Territory Manager duties
- Establish and maintain a strong relationship with partner organizations to support indirect/direct opportunities with end clients. These could include OEMS, Value Added Reseller , and leasing companies.
- Follow up with open leads, opportunities, and proposals to close new procurement sales.
- Identify and develop strategic sales partnerships that support the company’s vision and goals.
- Attend conferences to market the company, develop connections with clients and partners, and increase knowledge of industry trends.
- Meetings with other departments and cross-functional teams to provide for efficient and profitable business operations and a great client experience.
- Meet with clients and prospects to establish relationships, inspect equipment, and close new business.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date system records.
- Stay updated with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market
- Assist in Forecasting of devices procured
- Manage Sales Pipeline
- Responsibility to reach specified quota requirement
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Advanced supervision: Determines work assignments, priorities, and procedures for team members. Responsible for assigning, scheduling, and ensuring the quality and quantity of work. Approves time off and schedule adjustments. Provides training and coaching. Selects candidates for employment, promotion, etc. Formally evaluates team member’s performance (i.e.: performance reviews, discipline, etc.) Terminates employment. Makes compensation decisions.
Education & Experience:
Associates Degree in Business or equivalent preferred
10+ years experience in Sales/Business Development preferred
5+ years experience in executive sales leadership preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
C-Suite relationship building and strategic sales
Ability to manage high impact high dollar relationships
Strong presentation/interpersonal/communication skills a must
Familiarity with lead/demand gen tactics and tools (i.e. leveraging intent data)
Familiarity with sales enablement tools (Hubspot, 6Sense, Zoominfo, Nooks, Orum)
Environmental Conditions:
Normal office environment: No exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise or chemicals or hazardous equipment. Approximately 25% travel required.
