Pediatric Occupational Therapist (Pediatric OT) Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children’s strengths, weaknesses, and abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy to children of all ages
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and teachers, to coordinate care
- Document progress and communicate with families and other healthcare professionals
- Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric occupational therapy
Pediatric Occupational Therapist (Pediatric OT) Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children and their families.
- Ability to create engaging and effective treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs.
- Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and common childhood disorders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Master’s degree in occupational therapy
- Licensed to practice as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist
