The Naval Academy Preparatory School invites applications for the NAPS Tutor (Mathematics) to begin as early as Fall 2025 in the Academic Department.
The in-person tutor will be expected to work flexible hours, mostly evenings and weekend hours (to include Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon), and will be required to provide assessments concerning student difficulties and progress. This is an intermittent (irregular hours, maximum of 20 hours per week), temporary, and seasonal (10-month per year) appointment.
The position is located at the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, RI where the overall mission is to academically qualify selected candidates, by providing rigorous curriculum and targeted academic support, for admission to the U.S. Naval Academy.
