Job summary:
The SLP will play a pivotal role in maximizing a patient’s progress toward achieving functional goals through evaluation/assessment, treatment, treatment planning/implementation, education and communication with minimal supervision. The SLP is responsible for providing direct clinical service to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals throughout the lifespan in accordance with the principles and practices of speech-language pathology and Harvest Health and Rehab policies and procedures. The SLP will also establish rapport with patients/families, staff, and physicians to maintain a positive working relationship.

Education:
- Master of Science or Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- This individual must possess the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), OR be eligible for a clinical fellowship year (CFY) in order to earn ASHA certification (CCC’s) and/or meeting ASHA credentialing criteria. Once achieved , must maintain ASHA credentialing.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed in the state of Indiana or able to obtain
Experience:
- A minimum of one year experience following the clinical fellowship experience is preferred
- Experience in all areas of communication disorders, including dysphagia, voice, neurological disorders and pediatrics is desired
- Knowledge and experience in all phases of speech-language pathology
