The Children’s. 1st Accountant plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial affairs of the nonprofit, encompassing budgeting, financial reporting, and payroll management. This position demands meticulous attention to maintaining precise financial records, preparing comprehensive monthly and annual financial statements, and ensuring adherence to pertinent regulations and standards. The accountant will work collaboratively with the Executive Director to craft and monitor budgets, project financial trends, and deliver strategic financial insights that align with the school’s goals. Moreover, the accountant will manage accounts payable and receivable, handle billing, and coordinate audit processes.
