Camp Photographer, Social Media Team
In search of a young man or woman who has a passion for telling stories through photos. We are a Christian summer camp in Black Mountain, North Carolina and are looking for someone to serve as a photographer for our summer program. This program is designed to help aspiring photographers build up their portfolios, practical experience hours, and skills. You will be expected to take a minimum of 200 photos a day and post them to our camp website, blog and social media accounts. These photos will allow you to gain experience shooting action, landscapes, portraits, groups, and indoor and outdoor activities.
| Time Commitment and Perks |
Staff will arrive at camp on May 27, 2025 and depart August 8, 2025. Staff will work 6 days a week, having one day off and one evening off each week. This is paid position (salary starts at $2,400 and increases based on qualifications / certifications) and includes lodging and meals.

Alongside impressive photography and editing skills, we are looking for someone that displays these personality traits: Maturity, professionalism, positivity, grit, creativity, motivation, good with kids, and is comfortable accepting both praise and constructive feedback.

- Your area of camp (the Tech office) is clean, organized and well managed.
- You promptly make the director aware when new equipment is needed.
- All campers feel loved, supported and encouraged when portrayed by you in photo.
- You proudly post great photos every day.
- You are open for both praise and feedback in regards to your photos for camp.
- You willingly abide by any video regulations camp as a whole has put in place.
- You are willing to ask for help if necessary.
- You keep photos organized and delete anything that is not good work.
