Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a 2-year associate degree in accounting or a related field and a strong understanding of general accounting principles. This role is essential in supporting day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting duties including data entry, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist with audits and financial reporting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or general business.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
