As part of our strategic commitment to supporting University of Rochester BIPOC students, the Greene Center has dedicated a percentage of our fund raising to supporting BlPOC and First-generation student organizations in achieving their goals.
Black Student Organization Support
Purpose: Support Black student-focused organizations supporting career or professional development activities. In accordance with Greene Center strategic plan and allocation of 5% of funds raised in 2020-2021.
BIPOC + First Generation Student Organization Support
Purpose: Support BIPOC and first-generation student-focused organizations supporting career or professional development activities.
Additional Student Organizations
While the Greene Center does not have ample resources to support all student organizations, you are welcome to include us on your Student Organization funding request (see below) if your event, conference attendance, etc. is career or professional development in nature.
Application Process
Student organizations requesting funding should apply to the College Supplemental Funding page, and add the Greene Center to your department request list.
Funding Guidelines
In order to support as many student organizations as possible, funding is limited to a maximum of $250 per organization for each academic semester (i.e. fall and spring)
