Applications for Creative Experiential Learning Funding now open
In the creative fields, summer experiential opportunities are quite common, helping students investigate career options, develop skills, and link studio learning to the world of work. These training programs usually occur in the visual arts, performing arts, or writing and differ from internships as their primary focus is on the production, creation, and improvement of arts-specific skills. Examples of these opportunities include:
- Festivals (film/music/theatre)
- Summer Intensives
- Workshops or masterclasses
- Residency or studio programs
- Academies or institutes
The Greene Center offers financial support for these experiences of $500 – $1,000 per person. Both in-person and online experiences are acceptable, however we can only sponsor opportunities for the summer.
