Chuck Chimera ’21, Electrical and Computer Engineering
PhD Student, Formerly Electrical Engineer at Unither Pharmaceuticals
Chuck received a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2021 as a first generation college student from the University of Rochester. After graduating, he started his career as a field service engineer at Toptica, a laser manufacturer in Rochester. While there, he traveled to academic, industrial, and government labs across North America and worked in the quantum sector. Chuck then went to work at a materials research startup as the research design engineer. He worked with scientists to build and design a new lab space and work on a variety of material characterization equipment. His previous role was as an electrical engineer at Unither Pharmaceuticals, a pharmaceutical manufacturer, where he optimized and installed industrial packaging lines. As of August 2025, Chuck has started an Electrical and Computer Engineering PhD at the University of Rochester working with Dr. Roman Sobolewski as his advisor.

Isabelle Dorman

Isabelle Dorman is a Campus Recruiter at AlphaSights, an information services firm based in New York and San Francisco. AlphaSights partners with leading investment funds, strategy consultancies, and Fortune 500 companies, and is currently hiring ambitious juniors and seniors for summer internships and full-time roles on its Client Service team. The firm helps clients access expert knowledge, strengthen decision-making, and drive progress by connecting them with niche experts across the world.
In the Client Services role, students gain commercial and client service skills such as effective business communication, project management, and confident negotiation. Isabelle offers mock behavioral or first-round interviews, guiding students through discussions of their background, academic and professional experiences, and career motivations.

Yuming Liu MS ’22, Business Analytics

Yuming is a data scientist with experience in financial services, compliance, and risk modeling. Their background includes developing and validating machine learning models, building dashboards in Tableau, and applying advanced analytics to solve complex business problems such as anti-money laundering and operational risk management.
Yuming has also worked closely with cross-functional teams to translate technical insights into actionable business strategies. Aaron Gorenstein ’11, Computer Science
Senior Compiler Optimization Engineer at NVIDIA
Aaron Gorenstein has been in the software engineering industry since 2014, working mostly in compilers with a brief foray into databases and distributed systems. He has experience in real and mock interviews, in particular software-engineering interviews with a focus on data structures and algorithms (“DSA”). From 2018 to 2022 he volunteered at Pursuit, a Queens, NY-based nonprofit helping underprivileged adults break into the tech industry, conducting mock interviews and leading review sessions on basic theoretical concepts. As a senior engineer at MongoDB, he conducted dozens of interviews for senior software engineering positions and drove improvements to their question bank. Currently a senior compiler optimization engineer at Nvidia, he is beginning to conduct interviews there as well.

Alin specializes in informational and mock technical interviews. Sessions can cover SDK integration strategy, cross platform audio pipelines, low latency streaming, API design, and C/C++ fundamentals (memory, concurrency, tooling with LLDB/Instruments, sanitizers, and profilers).
Alin can also dive into system design for media streaming, debugging workflows, and code review best practices. The format is flexible—whiteboarding, code walkthroughs, or targeted Q&A—and includes actionable feedback, a study plan, and other resources.
