URochester Connects Mentorship

The University of Rochester’s mentorship program has a new name and a refreshed experience: URochester Connects Mentorship.

Running from October 20, 2026 through February 20, 2027, the four-month virtual program gives students the opportunity to build a meaningful connection with a mentor from the URochester community. You’ll be matched based on shared interests and career goals, then you and your mentor decide what you want to talk about and how often you connect.

What Can You Talk About?

Your conversations could cover:

  • Careers and industries you’re curious about
  • Internships and jobs
  • Graduate or professional school
  • Your goals and next steps
  • Life after URochester
  • Questions about your mentor’s career journey

You don’t need to have a specific career path in mind. Start with what you’re curious about and let the conversation grow from there.

Unlike a one-time networking conversation, URochester Connects Mentorship gives you time to get to know your mentor and build a genuine relationship. The experience is virtual and flexible, with conversation guides, worksheets, and program staff available to support you along the way.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of the new URochester Connects Mentorship experience!
