Hello, Creative Community!

We hope the end of the semester is treating you well – remember to get plenty of rest, food, and maintain energy levels as you study for finals. This will be the Creative Community’s last blog post of 2025, and it includes a SAVE THE DATE for one of the Greene Center’s biggest events of next year…

The Career Exploration Summit is a conference-style event taking place on Saturday, February 21, and is designed for first- and second-year students! Alumni from the University of Rochester are dedicating their time to return to campus to share their stories with YOU. You’ll hear firsthand from graduates who were once in your shoes—how they found their path, built valuable skills, and made the most of their time at Rochester.

If you’re interested in working in the media, The Peter Roth Internship through the Paley Center for Media in New York City is accepting applications until January 14, 2025. The internship is named after the TV executive behind shows like Friends, The West Wing, and Family Guy, to name a few. Candidates should be passionate about the art of storytelling, and submit a resume, cover letter, essay responses, writing sample, unofficial transcript and two letters of recommendations.
