URochester Internship Program
The Greene Center is excited to announce the launch of our URochester Internship Program that includes four elite programs for summer 2026. These programs offer financial support for returning undergraduate students who are interning in the Rochester area. These experiences are designed to provide you with valuable, hands-on experience in different industries and diverse roles. Students must apply individually to specific internship roles in Handshake, not the program itself. For more information, check out the URochester Internship Program website.
What you get:
- $3,000 – $10,000 stipend depending on the program
- Two summer excursions
- End-of-summer celebration
- Internship credit (with transcript notation)
- A dedicated career advisor
Applications for the Bond Scholar, Hire Rochester Scholar, and Ostrow/Newkirk Scholar programs are now open through Handshake. Deadlines vary based on the internship role. Apply now!

What You’ll Do:
Help shape our U.S. market strategy by preparing and refining product catalogs.
Organize and structure internal product data to support multiple teams.
Gain hands-on experience with data warehouse tools and processes.
Contribute to logistics-related planning and design.
Act as a communication bridge between our U.S. and China teams using your English and Chinese skills.
What We’re Looking For:
Bilingual: Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Interest in business development, logistics, or data management.

Summer Internship Program at the Information Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory | Expires: March 5th, 2026 | Rome, New York
The 2026 application cycle will begin in September 2025 for the Summer Internship Program at the Information Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory. This is a paid summer internship opportunity for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university at the freshman level through PhD level (SECURITY CLEARANCE ELIGIBLE) to work on-site with AFRL researchers on a wide variety of research projects.
Applicants may now choose from a listing of research project topics that they would like to be considered for. Examples of research topics available are Data Efficient Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Small Unmanned Aircraft System, Neuromorphic Computing, Trusted Software, Quantum Information Sciences and much more.
