This Week in Social Good | November 27, 2025

Hello, Social Good Community!

As we start the Thanksgiving break, the Greene Center hopes you are able to slow down, rest, and give yourself the space to reset before finals begin. This part of the semester can feel intense, but taking even a short break can help you return with more clarity and energy. The days ahead are also a good time to look over any upcoming graduate school or internship deadlines, especially those that close in early or mid December. Balancing rest with a quick check-in on your goals can help you finish the semester in a strong and steady way.

URochester Internship Program

The Greene Center is excited to announce the launch of our URochester Internship Program that includes four elite programs for summer 2026. These programs offer financial support for returning undergraduate students who are interning in the Rochester area. These experiences are designed to provide you with valuable, hands-on experience in different industries and diverse roles. Students must apply individually to specific internship roles in Handshake, not the program itself. For more information, check out the URochester Internship Program website.

  • $3,000 – $10,000 stipend depending on the program
  • Two summer excursions
  • End-of-summer celebration
