    3. Prepare for internship and job searches along with US norms.
    4. Know about your visa and work authorization status.

    This is the second of a three-part series specifically for students looking for employment in the United States.  Learn about how to network in the United States and why it is important for propelling you toward career success.  In this hour-long session you’ll learn:

    1. Why building a network is important.
    2. What steps go into building your network.
    3. How career conversations are structured and how to secure a conversation.
    4. How to create networking notes to connect with employers and alumni.
    5. What resources are available at the University of Rochester to help you network.
