Job Search in the U.S.: Maximizing Resources | Friday, September 19 | 1-2pm
Interested in finding work in the United States? This event is the third of a three-part series that will give you strategies to prepare for internship/job searches by navigating US culture norms. We will also discuss information about visa and work authorization status. This event will take place in Dewey Hall 2162.
Meliora Weekend 2025: Connect & Elevate | Friday, September 19 | 3:30-5pm
Join the Alumni Affinity Networks for an afternoon of networking and fellowship, connecting students, alumni, and parents across the Women’s, Black, Latin, First-Generation, and LGBTQ+ networks. Presented in partnership with the Office of Mentoring and Student Advocacy, the Kearns Center, and the Greene Center, this event highlights the University’s commitment to career exploration and community-building through meaningful alumni connections.

Professional Success Night with Alumni Networking | Monday, September 29 | 6-7:30pm
Join us for an evening of networking, dinner, and practical advice on navigating the workplace with Dr. Jonathan Shipley. Learn strategies for effective professional communication and hear real stories from local alumni about their career successes and challenges. Space is limited, so please register only if you can fully participate, as our alumni are volunteering their time to support you!
2025 Fall Career Expo | Tuesday, September 30 | 11am-2pm
Undergraduate and graduate students can connect with employers from a wide range of industries who are actively recruiting for internships and entry-level positions. This event will take place in the Feldman Ballroom.
Practice Technical Interview Week | October 1st – 7th
For those of you interested in learning more about technical interviews, be on the lookout for our upcoming Practice Technical Interviewing week! Prepare to stand out in technical interviews with personalized, one-on-one practice sessions led by experienced alumni. During each session, you’ll receive constructive feedback tailored to your strengths and areas for improvement, learn proven strategies for answering challenges questions, and build your confidence. Join the Greene Center for a signature event focused on advocacy, policy, legal and nonprofit work. Students interested in careers in law, government, and public impact are encouraged to attend this interactive session featuring an alumni panel and case study challenge. This event will take place in Havens Lounge, Wilson Commons.
Employer Road Trip: The Strong Museum | Friday, November 7 | 1-2:30pm
Join the Greene Center for a unique opportunity to explore one of Rochester’s most iconic institutions — The Strong National Museum of Play! On this road trip, you’ll go beyond the exhibits and get an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour focused on museum curation. Transportation provided, although space is limited. RSVP today!
