Professional Success Night with Alumni Networking | Monday September 29th, May Room | Wilson Commons, 6:00-7:30PM

Join us to hear an expert presentation on navigating the workplace, make new alumni connections, and enjoy dinner and stories!  The Greene Center is pleased to host this lively evening with Dr. Jonathan Shipley to learn more about developing your professional communication and networking skills. This program is an opportunity to talk with other students and local alumni who are joining us to share their experience from the workplace – successes, missteps, and how they responded to them. 

Please note that this is a limited capacity event and alumni participants are volunteering their time to support you. By signing up for this program, you are committing to participate fully and arrive on time. If you no-show another student could lose the opportunity to attend and we hope that won’t happen.

For those of you interested in learning more about technical interviews, be on the lookout for our upcoming Practice Technical Interviewing week! Prepare to stand out in technical interviews with personalized, one-on-one practice sessions led by experienced alumni. UR Alumni Banking Cohort – Deadline Sunday, October 5th

We’re entering the  3rd year of the UR Alumni Banking Cohort! 

This program will prepare first and second year students for opportunities on Wall Street, and beyond, by connecting you with professional volunteers and alumni who will guide you through their industry’s recruiting process for internships and jobs. 

If a volunteer is not available to work with you immediately, we’ll include you on a wait list and match you as early as possible. 

Before submitting your resume, you must utilize Quinncia’s resume review resource AND meet with a career advisor to review your resume in order to meet industry standard expectations. 

Hannah Holland and Emily Sanders are the career advisors for the Consulting, Finance, and Marketing (CFM) career community, however you can also schedule an appointment with any career advisor. Please do this before the application deadline of October 5, 2025.

Join GWI as we enter our next decade of transforming the investment management industry! 

The GWI Intensive Program begins with a unified curriculum that builds technical and career development skills to position Scholars for successful careers in investment management and beyond. Sophomore applicants can opt into consideration for the Internship Track within the GWI Intensive Program. Select Scholars placed on the Internship Track will be eligible for paid internship opportunities at GWI Partner Firms. 

As the program progresses, Scholars will continue their education in either the Summer Intensive Program (SIP) or the Online Intensive Program (OIP) – dependent on factors including but not limited to availability of internships at our Partner Firms, Scholar internship preferences, and in-program performance.
