Graduating seniors and graduate students at the University of Rochester now have a new resource to help them navigate their transition into the workforce. The Bridge to Career Success initiative offers a series of events and programs designed to provide job and internship search strategies, networking opportunities, and interview preparation.
Understanding the challenges of entering the job market, the initiative allows students to participate in events that best suit their needs. Key offerings include:
Job Search Group Sessions – Interactive sessions that provide guidance, peer support, and expert advice on job search strategies.
Alumni Office Hours – One-on-one meetings with alumni, offering students the chance to ask questions, gain career insights, and build professional connections.
And More – Additional career-related programming tailored to support students as they take the next steps in their careers.
Are you interning in Rochester this summer? You may be eligible for a $3,000 stipend!
If you have secured a paid internship with a for-profit organization in the Rochester, NY area this summer, you may qualify for the 2025 Bond Family Foundation Student Scholars Program. The program, funded by the Bond Family Foundation, supports students gaining professional experience with local businesses while strengthening connections to the Rochester community.
