Are you interning in Rochester this summer? You may be eligible for a $3,000 stipend! If you have secured a paid internship with a for-profit organization in the Rochester, NY area this summer, you may qualify for the 2025 Bond Family Foundation Student Scholars Program. The program, funded by the Bond Family Foundation, supports students gaining professional experience with local businesses while strengthening connections to the Rochester community.

MCAT Tutor at MedSchoolCoach | Applications Due by September 6
MedSchoolCoach is actively seeking tutor candidates! Tutors help students through the process of preparing for the MCAT examination and will meet virtually with students one-on-one to assist with content, strategy, and overall preparation for the MCAT. Tutors are typically outstanding college seniors, students taking time off between their undergraduate studies and medical school, or medical/PhD students. All tutors must have: 1. Taken the MCAT in the past three years and achieved a minimum score of 130 in at least three sections (1 score of 129 is accepted). 2. Planning to start medical school in 2026 or after. 3. Have a genuine interest in helping students achieve their goals. Candidates will participate in an orientation and training process prior to being hired. All qualified applicants are considered and scheduling is flexible! The University of Rochester Medicine Motion Analysis Laboratories is seeking an artist with strong attention to detail that must create high-quality, visually appealing artwork for medical reports and clinical research papers. To improve the representation of clinical testing protocols delivered in the motion labs, the artist will work closely with medical professionals and clinical scientists to produce clear, understandable illustrations that support treatment documentation for patients. A candidate for this position must possess both artistic skillsets as well as knowledge of anatomy, the musculoskeletal system, and kinesiology (body movement). This is a great position for anyone seeking to combine their artistic and medical passions, and will allow you to work with medical professionals throughout the fall semester! 3rd Annual Paul M. Schyve MD, Center for Bioethics Conference | May 2-3 at the UR School of Nursing
The third annual Paul M. Schyve MD Center for Bioethics “Family Matters/Families Matter: Ethical Considerations in Patient Decision Making” conference will be held on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3, at the School of Nursing. This conference includes:- Dr. Amy Caruso Brown, Interim Chair, Bioethics & Humanities at SUNY Upstate Medical University is the featured speaker who will present in the morning.
- A Panel Discussion in the afternoon with Ethics Professionals on how personal decision-making circumstances have shaped their clinical practice.
