The program, funded by the Bond Family Foundation, supports students gaining professional experience with local businesses while strengthening connections to the Rochester community.

Are you interested in private equity? Good news! UR alum Curtis Johnson has shared a summer analyst private equity internship opportunity with West Lane Partners in their Montclair, NJ office. The intern will be working with the investment team and investor relations. Specific responsibilities will be developed depending on the candidate’s interests and strengths along with the needs of the office and clients. Strong opportunity for a current junior (Class of 2026), as the role has the potential to lead to a full-time offer. This will be a 10-week internship from end May-early August. AlphaSights is excited to announce that Summer 2026 Internship applications will be opening up in early May. In addition, you can earn early access to this application by attending an upcoming virtual event. On Wednesday, April 23rd, AlphaSights is hosting a virtual information session from 5-6pm EST. This will highlight their business model, as well as how their client service team works. You’ll hear directly from Private Equity Vice President Jack Flege and Surveys Vice President Emily Behnan. The International Rescue Committee (IRC), works in the United States welcomes newly arrived refugees and immigrants, supports them in their resettlement, and provides holistic services to help them build new lives in their communities. The Financial Capabilities intern will support the IRC in NJ’s Financial Capabilities program. This program aims to increase the financial literacy of participants, provide them with financial coaching and access to low-interest loans.
