Introducing the Bridge to Career Success Initiative

Graduating seniors and graduate students at the University of Rochester now have a new resource to help them navigate their transition into the workforce. The Bridge to Career Success initiative offers a series of events and programs designed to provide job and internship search strategies, networking opportunities, and interview preparation.

Understanding the challenges of entering the job market, the initiative allows students to participate in events that best suit their needs. Key offerings include:

  • Job Search Group Sessions – Interactive sessions that provide guidance, peer support, and expert advice on job search strategies.
  • Alumni Office Hours – One-on-one meetings with alumni, offering students the chance to ask questions, gain career insights, and build professional connections.
  • Demystifying the Interview Process – A workshop hosted by Barbara Grossman ’77, P’10, and Jay Berger, P’10, from HeadHunterOnTap, designed to help students develop confidence and interview preparation techniques.
  • Is a UR Master’s Program Right for You? – An educational session on how a master’s program at the University of Rochester can support your career journey and the tuition discounts exclusive to undergraduate students.
  • And More – Additional career-related programming tailored to support students as they take the next steps in their careers.
