This week, we’re including a final reminder about upcoming funding opportunities in case you didn’t see last week’s blog. Also, make sure to check out upcoming events geared toward international students and sophomores!
If you’ve secured a summer internship and need financial support, be sure to explore the Greene Center’s Summer Internship Funding opportunity.
Additionally, if you’re working on a creative pursuit—such as attending a film festival, participating in a photography workshop, enrolling in a fine arts MasterClass, or something similar—consider applying for our Creative Experiential Learning Funding.
The application deadline for both funding opportunities is this coming Monday, April 7.

4/10, 12pm-6pm, Interstride International Student Career Summit Student Watch Party in the Greene Center
Join the Greene Center alongside other international students on the 4th floor of Dewey Hall for a watch party of Interstride’s Career Summit. We will watch each session as a group and discuss advice on succeeding in your job search. You can come anytime and do not need to stay for the entire event. Popcorn will be provided!
4/14, 3-5pm, Sophomore Major Declaration Celebration in the May Room
Sophomores, it’s time to celebrate! Join your classmattes, faculty and staff to commemorate officially declaring your major. You can sign your major’s roll, take photos with your peers in the photo booth, discover resources for the next step in your UofR journey, and pick up your professional portfolio gift. And if you’re still undecided, stop by to learn more about how to declare your major!
