Employer Road Trip: Gorbel! | Friday, February 28, 2025 from 9:15am – 12:30pm
Join us for a site visit at local company, Gorbel! Gorbel has been a world-class manufacturer of overhead material handling since 1977. Their cranes and lifting devices can be found in factories and properties all over the world, such as Amazon, Wayfair, Disney World, and the new Highmark Stadium for the Buffalo Bills!
Itinerary for the visit:
9:15 a.m. Meet promptly at Rush Rhees bus loop on Library Rd. (behind iZone)
9:25 a.m. Bus departs for Gorbel
9:50 a.m. Arrive on site and check in (please bring ID)
10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Company presentation, networking, tour, and activity!
12:05 p.m. Return to campus
Required dress is business casual (i.e. no t-shirts, hoodies, distressed pants, jeans, etc.). Do your research on Gorbel before the road trip so you can be best prepared to engage and ask questions.
