Featured Upcoming Events
January 25, 9:30am-3pm, Career Exploration Summit
Location: Feldman Ballroom – Douglass Commons, Various Breakout Rooms
Our inaugural January 25th Career Exploration Summit is an opportunity for first- and second-year students to connect with, learn from, and be inspired by alumni as they share narratives about how the University of Rochester shaped their career and life’s journey. Specifically, alumni will be sharing how they engaged in the campus community, what skills they discovered and nurtured, as well as details about their personal and academic experiences that helped shape the person they are now. Moreover, this summit supports the University’s strategic goals of retention, persistence, and on-time graduation.
Running concurrently with the morning alumni breakout sessions, the Greene Center will be offering quick career education circuits from 10:50am-noon. Topics will include 5-minute resume reviews, LinkedIn Photo Booth, and Handshake/Greene Center Alerts Lab. Additionally, our afternoon “Experiential Learning Fair” will offer students the opportunity to engage with interactive activities to jump start their exploration and pursuit of co-curricular experiential learning opportunities.
