STEP-UP! to Cancer Summer Research Program

The STEP-UP! to Cancer Summer Research Program at Sydney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center provides a summer research experience to undergraduate students who identity as underrepresented in science and medicine! As a summer research trainee, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of research topics, including state-of-the-art basic, translational, clinical, population-based, health services, health equity, biology, and bioengineering science research.

Some key program highlights include:

  • Immersive Research Experience: Work directly with experienced researchers on innovative cancer studies.
  • Professional Development: Gain critical skills and insights that will support students academic and career pursuits.
  • Mentorship & Guidance: Receive personalized guidance from experts in the field of cancer research.
