Study Abroad Resume Workshop

Join the Center for Education Abroad and the Greene Center for a workshop that will help you prepare your resumes to highlight your study abroad experience. This session will begin with an overview of how to write resumes, with specific suggestions for including your study abroad experience, and then we will transition to reviewing your individualized resumes and answering any questions you have.

Oct. & Nov. | Express Interest for Summer 2025 Sophomore Discovery Fellowship Program – North Carolina, at Wells Fargo

The Sophomore Discovery Fellowship Program is designed to provide students, who have completed their sophomore year of college, with an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities of full-time employees across a variety of roles within Wells Fargo. Fellows receive comprehensive professional and educational experience through networking, job shadowing, and other engagement opportunities paired with a summer capstone project and presentation. In addition, the experience offers organized activities that afford fellows engagement in intentional programming, exposure to various business functions, opportunities for career exploration, and networking events with other fellows across various businesses.

Learn about safeguarding and optimising HSBC’s financial resources including Capital, Funding, Liquidity and Balance Sheet, and how we ensure our continued resolvability. Work on key initiatives that help you understand how we build strategies and manage interest rate risk in the banking book through interest rate cycles. Collaborate with our global team of professionals across several businesses and entities to enhance HSBC’s financial returns.

You’ll be exposed to Jefferies’ full range of products and leading industry expertise.

Nov. 2 | Applications due for Investigative Intern – Washington D.C, at Federal Reserve Board

The Federal Reserve Board (Board) provides students opportunities for career success. The Board’s Internship program is designed to provide valuable work experience for undergraduate and graduate students considering careers including, but not limited to, economics, finance and accounting, information systems, and data analysis. The Board believes that by combining academic endeavors with project-related work experience, qualified and capable college students can gain the practical knowledge need in a competitive global job market. Internships are paid positions with salaries commensurate with credit hours; internships may be in-person, remote or hybrid, depending on the needs of the team. Employment in the Board’s internship program is granted to U.S. citizens. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and returning to continue studies after the internship.

Nov. 16 | Applications due for US Tax Reporting and Analyst Intern at BCG (Boston Consulting Group)

Student will be required to perform various tasks within the tax department including, but not limited to, assistance with preparation of US and State corporate income tax returns, prepare annual reports and assist with support for both domestic and international tax audits. In addition, there are a variety of on-going projects, often working with other teams within finance both in the US and Foreign offices, that will require support. Student will be trained on and use Oracle general ledger system, CorpTax tax preparation software, Trello Calendar, Slack, Palette, and SharePoint.
