KLA is looking for summer interns at our Ann Arbor, Michigan location. This position provides an opportunity to work with engineering teams on projects aiming to improve the performance and capabilities of KLA’s inspection and metrology tools!
In particular, the intern would work in one or more of the following areas:
Design, model and analyze complex optical systems to fit requirements within specified physical limits of precision optical instruments using software tools including sequential and non-sequential ray tracing software (Zemax, CODEV, LightTools or equivalent). Perform stray-light analysis, physical-optics modeling (incl. diffraction, interference, polarization) and Fourier analysis. Design and/or specify high-precision optical components and modules, such as lasers, LEDs, optical fibers, cameras, detectors and lens systems. Set-up, alignment and optimization of optical components & systems.

2025 Operations Intern at AbbVie | Application Deadline to apply is October 31, 2024
As an AbbVie Operations intern, you will participate in a paid, ten-to-twelve-week summer program working on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on our business and patients worldwide. AbbVie’s global Operations business offers you an opportunity to work in a variety of fields based on your degree type.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e., extracurricular activities or projects).
- Mobility is a key requirement as a pipeline internship to our Operations Development Program. Operations Development Program Members will be required to experience at least one assignment based in one of our U.S. Operations Plants and will rotate to different sites with each rotation based on business need.

Apple Graphic Design Intern, Marcom (January – April) at Apple | Application Deadline January 19, 2025
The Graphic Design Intern is an integral member of the team that helps to create innovative and compelling work from ideation to execution. In this role, you will become instrumental in developing work that inspires customers for one of the world’s most creatively influential brands.
Graduating no sooner than October 2025
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to Apple graphic design projects from conception to completion, including product launches, hardware art direction, event and branding identities, graphics and signage, retail collateral, packaging design, and special occasion projects.
- Internal group responsibilities include comping and preparing presentations, server organization, and some studio maintenance.
Key Qualifications:
- An excellent understanding of the basic design principles of structure, grids, layouts, typography, and presentations.
- A strong understanding of image making and composition.
- Keen attention to detail, with sharp comping skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively and autonomously within a large group environment is required.
- We’re looking for a team player with a positive attitude and curious mind.
- Must have strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Cinema 4D, 3D software, and animation skills are a bonus.
