As a part of the LGBTQ Alumni Speaker Series, the Paul J. Burgett Intercultural Center will be hosting alumni Dr. Kathy Gerbasi, Professor of Psychology at Niagara County Community College, for a conversation on the Furry Community. Dr. Gerbasi’s research focus centers around anthrozoology, therianthropy, and the Furry Fandom.
She will be giving a presentation called, “Furries From A (Anthropomorphism) to Z (Zoomorphism): What Nearly 20 Years of Studies Have Revealed About Furries and their Fandom”.
This presentation will take place on Wednesday, September 18th at 7:00pm in Feldman Ballroom.
