Greene Center Events

9/14 (10 am – 8 pm, one-hour timeslots) | Demystifying Technical Interviewing: A Day to Practice and Learn
The Greene Center is offering a practice technical interview day with one-hour timeslots for students to sign-up and meet 1:1 with U of R alumni in fields such as software engineering, data analytics, finance, and more. Consider joining us to gain practice and gain knowledge about technical interviews, all while receiving real-time feedback so that you can be well prepared for your job search.

Please join the Greene Center for a three-part series helping International Students navigate the job search process. Join this mock mini-conference to help develop networking skills and the tools needed for you to partake in industry-related conferences. All majors, class years, and degree levels are welcome to join.

9/26 – 9/29, Meliora Weekend

Mark your calendars for Meliora Weekend as it is time to showcase your college spirit and join in on a four-day celebration featuring over 100 events! Family and friends are welcome as the University welcomes all students, faculty, staff and alumni to campus for homecoming. In addition, as you prepare for Career Week, there will be several hair stylists on campus that can help you “look your best” and you can sign-up for Complimentary Professional Headshots (by appointment).

Due 9/27, The Empire City Wire Content Intern

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to join a team at a NY-based online periodical by contributing articles, managing social media and optimizing SEO. This role is great for individuals who have a passion for journalism and internet marketing, and who want to utilize their creativity and have a hands-on experience.
