Rock Your Next Conference! | Thursday, September 12th, 2024 at 5pm to 6:30pm in the Feldman Ballroom – Frederick Douglas
Want to connect with UR alumni in your industry of interest or prepare for your next big event? Join us for our mock-mini conference; Rock Your Next Conference!
Hosted in the Feldman Ballroom, this mock-conference style event will help you develop relevant skills necessary for successful participation at industry conferences. Professor Amy Lerner, Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Rhea Bharadwaj ’24 (Business Analytics) will deliver a keynote address about their experiences participating in conferences. Following their remarks, Professor Chris Muir from the Department of Mechanical Engineering will facilitate a workshop about the value of portfolios and projects. After the workshop, you’ll have the chance to put these skills into practice at a networking session with alumni, faculty, and staff.

Demystifying Technical Interviewing: A Day to Practice and Learn | Saturday, September 14th, 2024 | Virtual Event
Elevate your interview skills in a one-on-one practice session with alumni professionals in data science, computer science, business, finance, healthcare, and beyond! Explore practical strategies, receive real-time feedback, gain confidence, and stand out in competitive technical interviews.
You must complete this form by midnight on Wednesday, September 4th to participate in this technical interview practice day. After completing the form, you will be matched with an alumni, parent, or industry leader for an hour-long technical interview session on Saturday, September 14th. Please be sure you are available that day for one hour between 10am-8pm ET.

Fall Career Week is coming soon! In order to set yourself up for success, we encourage you to attend this workshop to get the “inside scoop” on all of the exciting activities that will be happening throughout the week of September 30-October 4.
The Greene Center will host our annual Employer/Student Diversity Networking Event, our Fall Career Expo, which targets the engineering, finance, tech, business, and data science industries, a virtual career fair, on-campus interviews and more!
